Upcoming event: Novena Church Advent Market
We are excited to announce that Saints on the Move has been selected as one of the stall vendors at the upcoming Novena Church Advent Market, which will be held at Novena Church on Sat, 12 Dec 2026! This day happens to be the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe too!
Trusting the Lord amidst fundraising
We thank the Lord for giving us another chance to raise funds for the Church. In this case, proceeds from all our sales will go to the Redemptorist Church Mission Fund to support both local and overseas missions. As a small family business which only recently started and has to put food on the table for ourselves and our children, having to donate all our proceeds to Church is a big sacrifice on our part; but we know that this is an opportunity for us to renew our trust in the Lord, trusting that He will provide for our family as long as we put Him first.
These words of comfort from the Gospel of Matthew come to mind: "Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek all these things; and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well." (Matt 6: 31-33)
We also hear the admonishment from Blessed Fulton Sheen, who says "Never measure your generosity by what you give, but rather by what you have left." Indeed, let us strive to reach this level of generosity, which can only be reached with the grace of God.
Key highlights: What you can expect at the Advent Market
At the Advent Market, we will be introducing a new range of crochet dolls, keychains and bag charms! These include the new Divine Mercy Jesus crochet keychain, and of course, we will showcase the highly-anticipated Our Lady of Guadalupe crochet doll since that day is the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Our team is working hard to crochet all these beautiful saints for you. We pray that when you bring these saints home, their examples will inspire you to reach new heights of holiness and mission. Do pray for us too, because there's a ton of logistics to work out, and a lot of crocheting work to be done. We'll see you at the Advent Fair! 😀
